Fox Run Stainless Steel 3-piece Asparagus Cooker

This cooker is very light weight steel. It looks good and functions well, but will probably not be kitchen quality for very many years. After just a few uses, the steel is beginning to "pit" in the bottom. This leads me to believe that this pot was not made with high quality stainless steel.

Not all stainless steel

The basket is NOT stainless steel on the one I bought. Rusts quickly and then leaves rust stains in bottom of pot during storage. The wires are too widely spaced in the basket to hold small asparagus spears. Pot is okay, lid a little thin but okay.

A pot for all seasons

I love this cooker. I use it not onlyfor asparagus but steam corn on the cob. it also is good for heating up corn and steaming other vegs.
