Dumb handle on the lid

I like Circulon better than any other brand non-stick (except for the very old 'red dot' T-Fal, which lasted longer than every other non-stick, period).But there are 2 negatives that make me NOT love them:- The shapes of the pots. The saucepots are tall and narrow. The stewpots are wide and shallow. I really prefer Calphalon's pot shapes, but their non-stick is the worst around, simply terrible quality.- What is with the 'high-rise" handles on the lids of this line? 99.9% of kitchens don't have sufficient storage space. Why is Circulon/Meyer making lids that take up twice as much depth as they should?
