Great Stainless Steel Pot for Induction Cooking (for Hotpots and Shabu Shabu)
By D. Lee
I looked high and low for a low-priced, 4-5 qt, everyday pot/pan (without the long handle), with magnetic stainless steel, specifically compatible for portable induction cooktops. Other than my cast iron and All Clad skillets, none of my other pots and pans were compatible for induction cooking. All Clad, Cuisinart, and Caphalon had the products I was looking for but the price was about 5 times more. I ended up finding two products under $25 - the Ciera and the Fagor Casa, and I bought both to test. Both were perfect for my cooking purposes (Asian hotpot or Shabu Shabu, i.e. fondue-like meat/vege cooking in boiling water).

Perfect Pan for the Price
By E&J
So far we have bought three of these pans. For the price the overall quality is very good. They heat evenly, burn less, and work on the horrible coil electric stove we have in our current apartment better than most other pans. Was surprised that a Fagor product was made in China, but it is still a great buy if you cannot afford to spend hundreds on the best European pans. And some of my better pans I refuse to use on an awful coiled electric stove. These pans were a great overall solution.I have also accidentally hurled one of these across the kitchen and was also surprised that the glass top survived intact. Nice.

I bought a second one.
By Patricia Collett
This is a really nice pan for the price. I use it on my induction cooktop. It is truly an "everything" pan. I have even fried bread in it. It was inexpensive enough to pick up a second one. I really like it because I don't have to worry about how it is treated, or if metal utensils are used in it...I don't allow metal utensils to touch my expensive "tri ply" and enamel coated iron cookware. AND... don't have to worry about someone "taking" it at potluck dinners. It cleans up quite nicely with bar keepers friend.
