A stock made from scratch can elevate a recipe from delicious to delectable, but to do that requires a strong, durable pot that can handle simmering for hours at a time. This covered stockpot resists wear and tear due to its sturdy materials inside and out, and the dual-riveted handles are sure to impress with their comfort and strength. This Paula Deen Porcelain Nonstick covered stockpot is high-performing and lets cooks express their personalities in the kitchen. The stockpot's heavy gauge construction heats evenly and quickly, helping to eliminate hot spots that can burn foods. Also great is the long-lasting DuPont Teflon Select nonstick interior, helping foods release easily with every use, plus the porcelain exterior is colorful, long lasting and easy to clean. A sturdy glass lid presents a great way to oversee cooking without sacrificing moisture or heat, and its copper color-accented and color-coordinated knob adds extra style. Dual riveted for additional strength, the soft-touch handles bring comfort to the kitchen and aid in the easy transfer of the stockpot from one kitchen station to another. Best of all, this covered stockpot is oven safe to 350-degree f.

Nice stockpot
By Ronald Haefner
Got my wife one, it came in a set of Paula Dean cookware. She like it so much I got her two more. Its great for spaghetti night. Noodles in one and sauce in the other one. She likes the clear lid to peek in on the food, but its really not a big plus, you still pull the lid off to "sample" or "taste" the food. Her current one is not quite as shiny as it was when it was new, but its been used a LOT and been in the dishwasher probably a couple of hundred times. No chips or any other defects so far, and its been well used and its held up well.

Stockpot it's Not
By Glenn
I wanted a Paula Deen Dutch Oven and I bought this for my daughter's Christmas present. She absolutely loves it! However, the advertising and internet description is misleading. I googled Paula Deen Dutch Oven at the Target on-line store and the item displays as a Dutch Oven. However Target was sold out so I searched Amazon and found the same item BUT labled as a STOCKPOT! Very confusing! I took a chance on the Amazon item and ordered it. I received the item in a timely manner and it is exactly the same as the Target item BUT it is labled STOCKPOT! Bottom Line: Paul Deen's Signature Nonstick Porcelain Stockpot in Red IS ACTUALLY A DUTCH OVEN!:)Glenn
