Excellent Pot Selling For a Lot Higher Elsewhere

A heavy stockpot, perfect for cooking soups and sauces that have to cook for long periods of time. Foods are less prone to burn and stick to the bottom with this pot than with the lighter ones.My brother said he didn't expect it to cook as well as it did because he thought it wasn't heavy enough. So this is a good option for serious cooks who prefer lighter pots (like me).This pot is currently selling for $250 at Sears.

Nice size, tall domed lid.

Measurements:Outside: 10.5" diameter, 5 3/4" tall, about 2mm thick walls, about 1/4" thick bottom.Handles poke out about 1 3/8" from sides.Lid stands about 3" high with handle.PROS:Black silicone-like handles stay fairly cool on gas range.Exterior is shiny with black coated band.Seems to heat pretty evenly.CONS:Interior shows water stains a little, almost like it has been etched.Lid dome is tall, and lid handle makes it even taller. I need to put the lid on upside-down to fit my storage.I would buy this pot again, and am mostly happy with it.
